The 8th Annual W&M Youth Filmmaking Institute will present middle and high school students an opportunity to learn about the filmmaking process and get hands-on experience at the College of William & Mary the weekend of November 9 & 10, 2019. The WMYFI program includes two days of presentations and workshops led by William & Mary staff and undergraduate students culminating in a free, public screening of all student group film projects.
The 2019 program will include a series of brand new workshop opportunities available for new and returning young filmmakers! Registration for the 2019 institute will open in October.
This program is produced by the William & Mary Global Film Festival, with support from Canon Virginia and the W&M Libraries, including Swem Library and the Reeder Media Center.
