The 5th Annual W&M Youth Filmmaking Institute (formerly the “DIY/FIY Do-It-Yourself Film-It-Yourself Youth Filmmaking Project”) offered middle and high school students an opportunity to learn about the filmmaking process and get hands-on experience.
The WMYFI program featured a weekend of presentations and workshops led by William & Mary staff and undergraduate students culminating in a public screening of all student group film projects at the historic Kimball Theatre.
This program is produced by the William & Mary Global Film Festival, with support from Canon Virginia and the W&M Libraries, including Swem Library and the Reeder Media Center.
